It is their "passion for culture" that unites UTET, epoch-making publishing house in Turin, and Haltadefinizione in a top-quality multimedia project dedicated to Sandro Botticelli.
A new website has been created to celebrate the Florentine painter symbolizing the Italian Renaissance: this includes in-depth research, videos and, above all, extraordinary high-definition images, which are the result of a digitization project involving all of Botticelli’s paintings displayed in the Uffizi Gallery and kept in its storerooms. Some of these paintings have been published online for the first time, and made available to computer users throughout the world. A crucial aspect that has enabled this project is the cooperation with the Florentine Museum Association and, in particular, with Superintendent Cristina Acidini, whose video lessons on Botticelli’s paintings can be found in the interview section of the website.
