Deep Space is the name of the exhibition space in the new "Ars Electronica Center" in Linz, an Austrian city appointed European Capital of Culture 2009. Deep Space is a very large room; on its walls, measuring 52.5 by 29.5 feet (16 x 9 m) full HD images are projected, while visitors can freely move or climb up to the gallery, a balcony placed about 16 feet (5 meters) above the floor level. Until the end of 2010 some Haltadefinizione images can be viewed in different ways, such as traditional guided visits or on special evening programs featuring lectures by art historians.
