Thanks to the collaboration between Haltadefinizione and the Leonardo Da Vinci Science and Technology Museum of Milan, the high-definition Cenacolo reaches Korea. The digital image of Leonardo’s masterpiece will be used for the set-up of a multimedia hall within the exposition “Leonardo Da Vinci: Nature, Art & Science”, whose inauguration will take place on September 15, 2009 at Incheon. The President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, will attend the vernissage during his official visit to Korea. The vast exhibition area will hold, together with a selection of 37 models of the most fascinating inventions attributed to the artist, a new hall of over one thousand square feet (100 m2) dedicated to the digital reproduction of the fresco of Last Supper in 1:1 scale, its original size.
