The Maurizio Costanzo show is a popular Italian evening TV talk show. Fine Arts and Aesthetics were the topics of the March 21, 2009 show, focussed on Assisi and the cycle of frescoes by Giotto illustrating Saint Francis’ life on the walls of the Upper Basilica.
Guests included Stefano Zecchi, professor of Aesthetics at the University of Milan; Giuseppe Basile, executive of the Higher Institute for the Preservation and Restoration; Claudio Ricci, Mayor of Assisi; Umberto Croppi, Councilor of the Cultural Policies of the City of Rome. Haltadefinizione’s ultra-high definition images were also featured, which had been produced in the previous January.
