On the occasion of its 400th anniversary, the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana has chosen Italian technological excellence for the digitization of its most prestigious masterpieces. Haltadefinizione, in agreement with the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, has begun a project of ultra-high definition digital acquisition of the famous paintings held in the prestigious Milanese institution.
The Boy with a Basket of Fruit by Caravaggio, the Musician by Leonardo da Vinci, the Madonna of the Pavilion by Botticelli and many other masterpieces will be photographed with the new technology “Real High Definition (RHD)” which was developed by Haltadefinizione with the technical cooperation of the S.P.I. company in Novara, Italy.
